Animax Carnival 2015

My sister was invited to the Animax Carnival this year and dragged me along with her because she knows that I'm a big fan of anime or as some people call it an "Otaku". I was excited because events like this is fun and is basically an "Otaku heaven" as my sister said. My obsession with anime started when I was 12 years old, I was searching for something to watch when I saw a rerun of Fairy tail on AXN and that was it. I searched up what Fairy Tail was and before I knew it I had finished 30+ episodes in one day. After that I started watching different kinds of anime and here I am now.

There were different kinds of shops at the carnival and we bought a lot of anime merch. I bought a Monokuma hat/beanie and a pin that says "Senpai, please notice me". My sister bought me a panda jacket, 3 hair emoticon pins and 1 monokuma hair pin.

There were also different activities that you can do, one of those is the Japanese traditional game "GoenKendama". When I first tried it I was having a hard time but after a while I got the hang of it, so did my sister and nephew.

There were also a lot of cosplayers there.

Bleach~

Sesshomaru from Inuyasha

Killua Zoldyck  from Hunter X Hunter

Natsu Dragneel from Fairy Tail

Kazuto "Kirito" Kirigaya from SAO

Naruto~

Toshiro Hitsugaya from Bleach

"Titan" from Shingeki No Kyojin

Overall, I had a blast during the carnival and I hope that I could go to other conventions with my otaku friends. ^~^

See you soon A...

Childhood friends, they are the ones who you grew up with and gone through ups and downs together. You knew each other since diaper days. They know you like the back of their hand and vice versa. They've seen you during your best and worst, you guys have done things that are pretty stupid and have done things that you are very proud of. You both like a certain kind of food and would kill each other if one is being unfair in sharing. You would have fights and misunderstandings but if one is in trouble the other one is ready to help. If one is having a hard time with school, the other would help him/her with their homeworks and projects. Aren't childhood friends awesome? Well, I lost my childhood friend last year May 11, 2014. He has been my best friend ever since I was born, we are 6 months apart. I miss him so much, I didn't even get to say goodbye to him or see him one last time before he passed away.  He has been a big part of my life, we lost contact for a couple of years and I regret not being able to reconnect before he died. It was very sudden I woke up and went downstairs to eat breakfast, I didn't even get to the last step of the stairs when my brother said "Hey, you're close with A right?" and I replied "Yeah, why?" and he said "Well, he's dead". And what he said felt so unrealistic that I didn't even get to react, I just sat down and my mind processed what my brother just said after a while I just did what I usually do. I was in denial and I knew it but I can't help it, after a couple of hours when my mom found out I sat on her bed and cried. We went to his wake that night and I cried my eyes out, I couldn't believe that he was dead. The memories we had kept replaying through my mind and I couldn't help but cry. After a couple of days, it was his burial. It went fast, I said my goodbye and last words to him and he was buried 6 feet under. It was hard for me since a couple months ago my grandparents died too. But like what people say "life goes on, it doesn't wait for anybody". It still hurts from time to time, I miss them but I'll see them again when the time is right.

Spice up your Nova life

Jack 'n Jill Nova has a new flavor, jalapeño! They sent me some to try it and it tastes delicious. My nephew liked it a lot even tho he hates spicy foods, my mom and grandma also loves it. I, myself am not a big fan of spicy food but I really liked it. The jalapeno gives off a bite that is enough to give you a hint that there is spice involved but its not hot enough to scare non-lovers of spicy food from eating it.

My family and I loves Jack 'n Jill products ever since so when Stratworks sent me this they were ecstatic. We wanna thank Stratworks for letting my family and I try the new flavor of Jack 'n Jill Nova first.

Luxe Aura

Last week, I went to Luxe Aura at Bicutan with my sister. The place is really nice and has a nice atmosphere. I really liked the place, the seats are comfy and the music is trendy, nice and isn't that loud. (22 by Taylor Swift was playing when we got there :3)

What it looks like outside

Reception Area

Their staff is nice, fun to talk to and will entertain all of your questions. There are a lot of colors to choose from light colors to dark colors to bright neon ones. They also do nail art and their designs are awesome and cute.

Nail Art
I had a foot spa and I loved it! It's not like the other foot spas that sometimes "minamadali". They have a step by step process and you can choose what kind you want. (Renewing, soothing, indulging, nourishing, illuminating and empowering)

This is what they did to me:

It makes your skin whiter, smoother and glowing. I would recommend it to for everyone to try.

Perfect for prom!

Fila Polo Club 2015

FILA Philippines, held their annual FILA Polo Club last Febuary 1, 2015 at Manila Polo Club. Sponsored by the market leader of FILA and In cooperation with ISPORTLEFE inc. Mrs. Cris Alber was their too and the opening was a great success. FILA is widely known and has 350 outlets nationwide, a lot of people are using this brand because they specialize in advanced foot wear in running, casual, basketball and so much more. I, myself, use FILA rubber shoes during my training, PE or just for casual wear.

At first, I didn't understand the game but after a while I finally understood it and enjoyed watching the game. The game is like soccer but you're riding a horse and instead of using your feet to kick the ball you use a mallet to hit the ball. The opening was a great success with the game ending with the scores 8-9.

The Fila Polo Cup proceeds will go to iSports Life Inc., the CSR arm of FILA Philippines which has been supporting Filipino families through the years thru its various campaigns:

1. Operation Compassion – aims to feed 4,000 to 6,000 families at least once per day as well as provide spiritual guidance by building 50 home churches in different areas.

2. iFoster – conducts forums on foster care & adoption, hosts trainings and workshops for foster and adoptive parents, organizes foster and adoption support group, provides technical assistance on foster care & adoption, advocates women’s and children’s rights and protection.

3. iRebuild – provides emergency response to calamities and natural disasters, relief & medical missions, psychological counseling, camp management, holistic community development which includes community development, entrepreneurship, family values & spiritual formation as well as employment & skills enhancement.

Overall, the opening was a success and that FILA is a great brand that helps people who are in need. And people really enjoyed their day and so did I and my family.

The Maze Runner

What would you do if your memories were taken away and the only thing you remember is your name? What would you do if you were sent to a place where nothing is familiar and you recognize no one? In The Maze Runner, those questions will be answered and you'll find out 2 kinds of people who have different ways of surviving those situations.

If you have read the book before you watched the movie you can relate to how I, and the other people, who have also read the book first felt. The movie was amazing but some parts of it was changed, I won't tell you which parts of it were changed, don't worry. I was expecting something to happen in the movie that also happened in the book but it did not happen so I was kinda disappointed but it was still an awesome movie. I would recommend people to read the book series and watch the movie. The Maze Runner is a book series and the first book is "The Maze Runner", the second book is "The Scorch Trials" and the last book is "Death Cure". The prequel of the series is "The Kill Order", I have read book 1-3 and is about to finish The Kill Order. I would say that this is already one of my favorite book series.

My favorite characters are these three Minho, Thomas and Newt!

And one of my favorite quotes in the book and also one of the funniest:

I hope you guys read the book series and also watch the movie. Thank you to Liv.Co for sponsoring us and for ensuring we have 30DaysHappyLife. :3
