FILA Philippines, held their annual FILA Polo Club last Febuary 1, 2015 at Manila Polo Club. Sponsored by the market leader of FILA and In cooperation with ISPORTLEFE inc. Mrs. Cris Alber was their too and the opening was a great success. FILA is widely known and has 350 outlets nationwide, a lot of people are using this brand because they specialize in advanced foot wear in running, casual, basketball and so much more. I, myself, use FILA rubber shoes during my training, PE or just for casual wear.
At first, I didn't understand the game but after a while I finally understood it and enjoyed watching the game. The game is like soccer but you're riding a horse and instead of using your feet to kick the ball you use a mallet to hit the ball. The opening was a great success with the game ending with the scores 8-9.
The Fila Polo Cup proceeds will go to iSports Life Inc., the CSR arm
of FILA Philippines which has been supporting Filipino families through
the years thru its various campaigns:
1. Operation Compassion –
aims to feed 4,000 to 6,000 families at least once per day as well as
provide spiritual guidance by building 50 home churches in different
areas.
2. iFoster – conducts forums on foster care &
adoption, hosts trainings and workshops for foster and adoptive parents,
organizes foster and adoption support group, provides technical
assistance on foster care & adoption, advocates women’s and
children’s rights and protection.
3. iRebuild – provides
emergency response to calamities and natural disasters, relief &
medical missions, psychological counseling, camp management, holistic
community development which includes community development,
entrepreneurship, family values & spiritual formation as well as
employment & skills enhancement.
Overall, the opening was a success and that FILA is a great brand that helps people who are in need. And people really enjoyed their day and so did I and my family.
